Nice to see such a consensus around these wines! For my part, I have tasted all of the wines mentioned above, though most only once or twice, and my preferences have pretty much followed the prices: Amon-Ra and Godolphin (haven't carcked an Annaperenna yet), GAM much less so, and the Bishop I only had once but didn't love. Liked the Wallace and pretty much everything else by Glaetzer. And FYI, if you like these wines, you will love the Heartland Director's Cut shiraz, even thought the scores on cellartracker are a bit weak.

Absolutely agreed... The Director's cut is terrific at the price point; Better than the Bishop IMO.

i just cracked open an 04 wallace before the leafs-canucks game - for us canadians eh! its sitting in the decanter as i'm typing this. all i can say is that it smells wonderful. full of fragrant dark red fruit, licorice, tar, very smooth smelling. nose alone is worth it. alcohol has dissipated. lots of sediment on the bottle neck. all that's left to do is give it a swirl and a taste... be back later with the results.
