Set of 4 Riedel Vinum Syrah Glasses at Amazon.com for $37.99 with free shipping and no tax. This looks like a mistake or really good deal if anyone is interested.
Be careful with these glasses as I have had a couple tip and breakoff at the stem. Have determined these are just too top heavy. But at $37.99 a 4-pack who cares.

Are you the guys that buy Library wines from Zachy's? Let me explain what an outstanding deal used to be-
Buy a box of 6 Spiegelau Bordeaux glasses(like Vinum, not Overtures) for $29.99; get 6 Red Burg glasses for free, WITH free shipping & no tax. Then, the same deal on Champagne stems(12) for $34.99.
Suffice to say, I have a lifetime supply of excellent wine glasses.

I was just about to suggest that! Target is carrying Riedel glasses, 4/$40, they have a limited slection, but usually some very nice ones. I still love my Spiegelau glasses though.
We purchased about 8 orders (96 glasses total when the Spigelau sale was going on at Amazon. I think the price was actually around $24.99. They were from the Authentis line as well... elegant and sturdy. I remember quite a few of us were on a frenzy... it was right before Christmas in 2003... the good ol' days.
At any rate, I checked Target, and the glasses aren't the same. They're made especially for Target, and they're much thicker and clumsier than the other lines.
Go HOKIES!!!

I got in on that deal as well. To date, none of my Spiegelau Authentis have broken.

I have had my Authentis glasses for 3 years, 2 have broken. One was completely my fault (d'oh) but one seemed to break easily. The rest are performing wonderfully!
