Received my 2005 Senejac, but I haven't seen any other new 2005's at Binnys or Sam's in the Chicago area since the winter.

Aav28 - Which wine. They, finally, delivered a 3l of Leoville Barton to me. I really did not like the capsule, but they basically said tough $hit.

Almost no available 2005 or 2006 Bordeaux at my local Costco. Same stuff week after week.

Finally! Sam's Wine here in Chicago told me that they have what they told me as "basically all their remaining 2005 futures now in hand". I picked up 3 bottles today....and will give them another week for the remaining bottles. Overall I'm down to 18 bottles of 2005 futures still outstanding from 3 different stores. Perhaps someday we will know where the delay was.

I'm still receiving my 2005 Bordeaux futures, slowly and often with my 2006 Bordeaux futures. I would really like to know how the negotiants in France can tell James S. that they shipped this stuff years ago and still keep a straight face...

Has everyone received their 2005 Bordeaux en primeur now...or are wine merchants saying that the wines are on their way, or the negociants have been fraudulent, or the shippers have been on strike...or whatever. Hope you have your 2005s. Let me know.

Still need from PC.

2005 Malescot St. Exupery Magnum, 1.5 L x 3 ordered 6-09-06
2005 Leoville Poyferre 3 Liter, 3 L ordered 7-19-07
2005 Cos d'Estournel 6 Liter ordered 4-09-08

I would think the malescot was futures and the rest was pre-order. Regardless, they should be in my cellar, not floating around somewhere.

Got the last of mine in June. Overall about 12 cases. Delivered over a 12 month span, first to last. Over that time I have purchased many 2005s at retail for less than they were offered EP. In some cases 30% to 50% less. Wow. 2008 Futures? You must be kidding.

Not me. Still waiting for Angelus, Palmer, l'Evangile (all ordered before the end of 2006), Pape Clement (ordered early 2008). Anyone else who ordered these from PC at these times (or after) received their wine yet?

Premier Cru is now showing that my last 2005 Bordeaux (Magdelaine) is now in stock, and will ship this fall.
Sam's Wines in Chicago still owes me 3 bottles, and Binnys still hasn't received the last of their 2005 La Tour Carnet....even though they have the 2006 in stock. Go figure, as they are usually really good.

Not sure how good my pc deals are any more...05 Evangile at $165 still looking ok, if I ever get it.

How could anyone not have their 2005 futures yet? The secondary market for these wines is already well established. This makes no sense.

To get right to the point, if it makes no sense, where is the blog? Or, preferably, how many inches can your editors carve out for this story? Either one would help dispel assertions by a certain other wine publication that advertisers hold significant sway here.

Still waiting for my 2004 d'Yquem, after placing the order Jan 30, 2007.
Not pissed, but unlikely that I'll ever order pre-arrivals from PC again. Just have no desire to deal with such a long time-line.

Ok, don't you think it is time you made a direct comment regarding premier cru?

with all these complaints on futures, did anyone file a complaint with consumer affairs regarding this?

I don't think the futures contract specified when the person would get the wines. Therefore, there was no legal basis to file a complaint.

well stated. I blame no one except the people themselves who happen to purchase from PC. You knew the risks, deal with the wait!
