So I was happy to open my print edition and see Laube start right off with a great little BBQ place that is right down the street from me. And I thought it was interesting to see that he went on a BBQ tour of KC, where I currently live. Culinary mecca it is not, but the BBQ really is the best I've had anywhere. However, if anyone visits, I'd totally recommend Arthur Bryant's at the top of the list, as long as you are willing to drive to the seedier part of town. Still, they have the best meat. IF you need a more formal atmosphere Jack's Stack is okay. He is right about one thing for sure, that most don't serve wine and probably should. Suppose it is more of a beer town that way.

Good BBQ and formal don't pair well. Since I'm also a fan of vinegar based sauces....wine isn't the best complement with good BBQ IMO

Give me a beer!!
