I've wanted to go here forever, but have never been able to make it:

Thanks for all the recommendations.
We had a really nice trip.

Had lunch the first day at "La Maison de la Truffle" were I had a really nice truffle risotto, my wife had truffle taggliatelle. the for dinner we went to "Willy's wine bar" for a nice meal.

Tuesday we went to a small local bistro near the Rodin museum for a salad and a soup and dinner was at "L'Epi Dupin" I had a lamb chop and my wife had pan seared beef. both were excellent. The only draw back is that it was a two seating restaurant and being there for the first sitting, we felt quite rushed to finish.

Wednesday, lunch was at "Le Dome" were I had the fricassee de coquille St-Jacques, excellent, my wife the monk-fish stew which was superb.

Thursday we went to an Alsatian restaurant on l'Isle St-Louis for a salad and supper was at "La Rotisserie du Beaujolais" my wife had roasted chicken and I had the pigeon which to my surprise was great.

Walked a whole bunch and just enjoyed the sights and sounds.

Again thanks for the tips.

aphilla, I wanted the bouillabaisse, but its for 2 or more and my wife was not up to it. Next time !

The mille feuilles was superb, we split a piece. And the waiter suggested we reserve a piece when we saw it go by to another table. We did and he reserved us the end piece and on of the larger portions we saw, so bonus.

The service was super.
It was in all the restaurants we went to.
