The 2006 Couer Blanc is excellent. I give it a 92/93.
We had it tonite with the grilled veal rib steaks and it was incredible.

We had this wine with Stickman on Sunday nite. first with a selection of 4 cheeses, then with my wife's brine smoked wild salmon and grilled mushrooms. It paired wonderfully. Stickman, who wasn't familiar with the wine, was raving on its sheer pleasure. We then junmped to the 04 Archery Summit Arcus Estate, but that's anothere story.

This pinot blanc is an incredible wine with a huge food range. Right now it's probably drinking a 93.

I called the winery for more and they are sold out. The 07 will be release in October. I have had every vintage of this since release, and it has not dipped below a 92 imo.

An extra note. Domaine Serene is a late releasing vineyard. Which is a great thing! But, this particular wine should be consumed with 18 months of release for max enjoyment. So the 07 will be released in 10 of 09. Drink by 3 of 2011.
