I hate to admit it, but I flavor my Vodka with Bombay Sapphire! Eek Well, it's a lot cheaper than Lafite, and anyway after two, I forget about it! Smile

Hanger One Kaffir Lime is one of the best and smoothest Vodkas out there. You can mix it 50/50 with tonic or 7UP and you don't know you are drinking Vodka... Its dangerous! Big Grin

sweet, another Hangar One proponent! Cool

did you know that their standard Vodka is a blend, with half being made from Viognier!? i went to a tasting once and one of the owners said that one day they want to release a Vodka 100% from Viognier grapes!

I'm with W+A as I've never had a flavored vodka.

I can't see buying any unless it were for some kind of themed martini party where the ease of not adding your own flavors would come in handy. I don't need peppered vodka for bloody marys as I just use pepper. But others seem to like at least some of the flavored offerings, so no harm no foul.

when we go out to bars or clubs my girlfriend wants to watch her carbs/calories sometimes and gets a flavored vodka with club soda.

Three Olives Root Beer and soda is pretty damn close to just drinking a root beer.

but all in all i think the flavored vodkas are useless.

Ugh... I turned 21 when I was in the Air Force. Needless to say, I drank a lot. Absolut Vanil or whatever it's called on the rocks was my drink of choice in the dorms with my roommate. I get sick just thinking about it.

I still love Absolut Peppar for Bloody Marys as indybob said, though I prefer vodka with several peppers soaked in it a la the Big Sur Inn.
