Hi All, I need help choosing the right wine for a big dinner tomorrow night, and have two options: Lagrange 2000 or Clos du marquis 2003, both St-Julien wines.
I know I should wait a bit more to open them Frown, but what are your suggestions?
Dinner will be game dishes, french style.

Thanks!

Well, IF you will not wait ( Razz) I would open the 2003 Clos du Marquis.

What few 2003 Bordeaux I have tasted at trade tastings, they are very fruit forward now, much more like a New World imo.

Either way, I suggest you give the wine time in the decanter first.

Good luck, and remember, you can always open both! Big Grin

Thanks wine+art, will go with my 2003, since I have two more to try out in the coming years, I'll save my Lagrange for 2010 Razz
