Yeah, congrats redknife! BTW, how did you make your mac and cheese. I'm seeing a lot more "gourmet" mac'n cheese and they are quite yummy.

Cons I actually did not make it. There is a deli near my house that has pretty good (rich and tasty) mac'n cheese. I just add a few drops of truffle oil at home.

I am grouchy and miserable. I'm also on the wagon and haven't touched alcohol of any sort in a week.

But I do have 5 lbs lost to show for it (at least the scale shows it anyway)

I feel your pain, g-man. Our son is getting married next month and my tux is a bit tight, so we've had little wine and grilled meat, fish, and veggies for 2 weeks.

Just one more sip.

I gave in,

Tomato, blue cheese, lettuce salad

Fried pork shanks with a side of fries

and crab cakes.

with a bottle of 2000 chateau bel air .

Drink this up immediately btw, this cru bourgeois doesn't stand with age even if stored properly. No fruit left what so ever.

Topped off with a glass of glenmorangie 12 yr aged in port wood.

First night in a week I'm sleeping happy

Maloney and Porcelli's offers a 75$, all you can drink, 1 app, 1 entree and 1 dessert.

Wines where Chandon Brut NV, Heitz Chard, 05 chapoutier belleruche cotes du rhone, 03 markham cab sauv.

didn't take advantage of it but sounded like a pretty good deal.
