I'm thinking of making finger shaped cookies for Halloween. I wonder what cooking ingredient would make the best black or red nail polish?

The cookies are for people who will visit on halloween, not the trick or treaters. I am loving doing the halloween decor the kids and adults love how it came out. My little boy loves it too!

My wife's sister-in-law used to have very elaborate Halloween parties at their house. She would start decorating a month early, and by the time she was done it would rival any radio station haunted house. It started to become a running joke.
So one year, my wife and I arrived dressed in official looking haz-mat suits with rubber gloves, goggles and respirators. We stretched yellow "CAUTION" tape around their house with signs that read, "WARNING! METH LAB CLEANUP IN PROGRESS" and placed a few buckets adorned with the hazardous waste symbol around it, with colored water and dry ice inside.

We were never invited back for some reason.

You could use candy corn for fingernails.
