We will be in Columbus this weekend for several hours and will only have time for a nice lunch. We'd like to find a local hot spot that's famous for something! Any recommendations?

THANKS!

Lunch is tough, most of the better restaurants just aren't open. A month ago my only real recommendation would have been Bexley's Monk (614-239-6665). Unfortunatly they recently lost their chef/part owner who was responsible for the excellent wine list. I can't comment on the quality of the food or wine now, but it still may be worth a shot.

If you do go post on the experience please.

We wound up going to Katzinger's Deli downtown. Excellent corned beef & pastrami sandwiches!
