Grilling pork chops tonight that have been brined in a brown sugar based brine. Grilling peaches and drizzling both with aged balsamic. Served with broccoli rabe.

My first inclination is riesling.

Suggestions?

Riesling would work.

Choice of anything? I'd go just off-dry Alsatian Pinot Gris as my first choice or a good Pfalz Scheurebe Spatlese as my second.

That is interesting mitP. In the photo of the recipe (from Batali) I just noticed a glass of red wine in the background.

We went with 2003 Joh. Jos. Christoffel Erben Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese *** and 2005 Walter Hansel Winery Pinot Noir The North Slope. I liked the Riesling better with dinner, DnVsMom liked the pinot.
