We are looking for a wine to go with Peperonata Shrimp with Almond Orange Couscous. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum jmjprince.

Hard to say as there are many styles of peperonata. Are you cooking with yellow, red or green peppers?

You might look to an Albarino, or Champagne always works. Cool

A good sherry is a great pairing with shrimp.

Sauv Blanc or sparkling wine IMO.

Try a Vermentino from mainland Italy or from Sardinia. I had two different bottlings of it with shrimp lately, and it paired very nicely.

I like a blanc de blanc Champagne, a bone dry Italian Moscato (if you can find one) or French or Russian River Sav Blanc (not a New Zealand)


Alcohol...a perfect drug, but a terrible food
