Still watching, in spite of myself. As you say, it is "spoofy entertainment."

I thought it was funny though when Robert kept coming on to the "Borgata Babes". Hey, baby, c'mere! I'd like you both in a blender! I want to spend more time with the babes!
My daughter asked, "Hey, didn't he put off his marriage to be on this show?" Wonder what the fiance thinks about that?

He was supposed to get married? Wow.

I was waiting for Scott to knife Andrea. It's a pity that he doesn't get to go into the 'diary room'

I loved how he kept asking "are you sure?!" I suspect if he went into the diary room there would be very little that would not have been bleeped out. It's tough to see Danny losing in the finale.

Yeah Paula pretty much has this won, unless she really screws up kitchen wars next week.

I wonder how serious it really was. He is a pretty accomplished chef in his own right, and I am thinking that Ramsey put him up to it, just to see how Andrea would respond. There is no way she didn't hear what he was saying, and she really didn't do anything about it....

My money is on Danny, with the crew he's got.

One thing that annoys me that they do time and again; whenever there are 3 rounds of anything, whoever wins the first round is GUARANTEED to lose the second round, no matter what.

My money would've been on Paula, but now that she got stuck with Lacey again, she may be sunk. Frown

I think Paula could and probably should win. Danny's crew is better, so that makes it close. I like them both; definitely the best 2. If Paula fires Lacy, her team has a chance. My problem is that the show seems so staged. The 1st ones were rather legit. I still watch. I also like Marco Pierre White on Hulu.com. He was asked if he did indeed make Ramsey cry. His response was, "I did not make Ramsey cry. He chose to cry". Worth a look.

I think Danny will have a better directional command of his kitchen, but the problem is that each team is equally pathetic. A shame Bobby could not make it back.

Ben = Andrea (both poor sandbagger versions of line cooks)

These two are the leads for each captain and both would have not survived as long would it not have been for such ridiculous competition.

Tough call. Danny is my underdog and would be a tremendous sous, but I think Paula will win out.

Yep. I felt sorry for Paula, she was handicapped from the start. Downer-Cow/Lacey (with the help of Andrea) sunk it for her. Frown
How f*@&ing hard is it to make a creme brulee? My kids made them when they were in middle school, for crying out loud.

Giovanni had a hell of a bad attitude too, though. I don't know how they expect to find work after this show.

Not too surprised. Danny should be a pretty good chef if he gets a good crew at the new place in Borgata which will be called Fornelletto (little oven). The restaurant is a remodeled one formerly called Ombra. The kitchen is absolutely new with high end cooking treats. The staff is very experienced. This should be open at end of June. Fox 29 did an interview with Danny on local Philadelphia TV last Thursday.

That downer cow makes Droopy Dog look like a border collie. I wouldn't even want to eat at a restaurant where she was a customer.

I remember one business professor, when giving us a group presentation assignment, told us like in the real world, you can fire a member of your team, if they aren't pulling their weight. So I was wondering if Paula could've fired sagglepus.

Giovanni's bad attitude was early on. The editing played that up. Seems he got into it once they got going, and was thrilled at winning. He was one of the better chefs, but his attitude took away any chance of winning.

DnVsMom was at an event earlier in the week where Christina (season 4 (?) winner) was cooking. She was incredibly down to earth, self deprecating and just plain nice. Food was surprisingly good too.

I got an autographed apron!!!!
