ok- I know this a bit odd...my wife is making her homemade macaroons (My fav) for my birthday dinner.

I'd like to have a dessert wine to pair..options available:

1) Auslese: (05 Prum, 03 Loosen or 01 Selbach Oster)
2) TBA: (98 Kracher #6, 05 Ordonez Malagas (partnership with Kracher)
3) 05 Baumard Quartes de Chaume
4) 01 Guiraud Sauternes

To make it a little more difficult- most of the macaroons will be dipped in chocolate.

Any of these make a good pairing or should I bypass the dessert wine?

My first choice would be an Amarone Reciote. Magic with chocolate. A Tokay would be acceptable.
I guess you could have the Baumard but that would be infanticide!.
How about just picking one and have it on it's own, then having your dessert w/ coffee?

I wouldn't waste an expensive wine trying to pair with chocolate dipped macaroons, but Yalumba Museum Reserve Muscat is a match that can stand up to the sweetness. It is widely available.
