The cilantro haters are a vituperative lot! I know some people who are truly passionate about their abhorrence for this herb. It's part of what motivated me to start this thread. Must be some genetic thing that causes this to taste so horrible to some people?  PH |

There are a number of chemicals that there are well knowned genetic traits as to your sensitivity to them. Coriander/Cilantro is one of these. I'm one of these, it pretty much ruins anything prepared with it.

I find cilantro to be the perfect accompaniment to the beans in my chili.
Though I have, at times, found the overdone level in some breakfast burritos. THIII |
