Last night we went out to a bistro in Belgravia called The Pantechnicon. Cozy local spot tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. I had a perfectly cooked lamb rump with rosemary potatoes and roasted artichokes. 2006 Cigliuti Briccoserra.

K-

Sounds great. I'm curious as to how you serve your S & T. Do you do the lobster first, then the beef, or both at the same time with a glass of white and red?

Lobster & meat served at the same time.
I elected to consume lobster first, with the Chard, followed by the meat with the Cab.

It worked. Both wines showed well. The Chard was a particularly good pairing.

Friday night was fantastic.

Went to a neighbor's after the conclusion of the par 3 contest during our member/guest. I brought a Flannery Wagyu rib cap, we had some awesome grilled prawns, lots of nice salads, fresh grilled salmon, grilled duck breast, and assorted sausages.

Lots of different wines including 2005 Brewer-Clifton Cargasacchi and 2006 Loring Cargasacchi Pinots, 2006 Sojourn Sonoma Pinot, 2004 BV Georges de Latour, 2005 Cosentino The Winemaster, 2003 Chateau La Tour Blanche....

Last night, East Indian, including some excellent butter chicken and a really nice eggplant dish (forgot the name already). 2006 Pfaffenheim Gewurztraminer.

Tonight if I ever get out of my office, I'm going to make a simple fish stew (like a faux bouillabaise) with just cod, snapper, and a few prawns. And 2004 Girardin Chassagne-Montrachet Abbeye de Morgeot VV is waiting in the fridge.
