This is a fairly new steakhouse just opened last year, adjacent to the trendy Cabana Club, same owner for both establishment.
Elegant interior decoration, a blend of traditional and contemporary. Big open bar area to be seen before or after dinner. Imagine this to be a crazy busy dining destination on weekends.

To start off the dinner, I went with the Tuna & Albacore Sashimi Salad served Checker Board Style($17). The sashimi is fresh as it can be, the preparation and presentation is simple, classic and straight forward. None of the excessive dressing on the plate that forces you to taste the flavor, rather, the dish was served with a soy ponzu sauce on the side.
Too many sashimi based salad at western restaurants these days kill the flavor of the delicate fish, this is not one of them.

The piece of meat I decided on was a 20oz Bone in Rib Eye ($36). As the plate arrived on the table, I welcomed the great aroma of butter, reminded me of the Plugra Butter I use at home. I had ordered the Brandy Pepper Sauce ($1.50) to accompany the steak, but actually found it to be useless as the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to temperature. Straight horseradish, if you can handle it, is actually the best pairing with this beautiful hunk of meat.
This steak is perhaps the best I've had since the dinner at N9Ne Steakhouse in Chicago when I visited for Otis' CDP last Summer.

Both Rob Harpest (Manager) and Jonathon Mitchell (Sommelier) are also winos at heart. Although the corkage is stated at $25, if you pour them a glass and/or talk wine with them, the chances they will give you a break at the end of the night.
No worries on stems, not Spiegelau or Riedel but works perfectly fine.

Give this place a try if you haven't been (rickym13 pay attention), hope you have an enjoyable night as I did.
