Went to quiz night at the local pub last night. Standard bad pub food but fantastic pints of Guinness. Our team of all Americans finished last in the quiz. Frown We did ok with British history, but suffered when it came to British pop culture.

Grilled lamb chops with rosemary/thyme/garlic marinade, mashed red-skinned potatoes with chive, green beans, and baby salad greens. For dessert – fresh sliced peaches in puff pastry with apricot glaze and cinnamon whipped cream. The lamb paired nicely with a ’98 Château La Papeterie.
