Who needs a recipe? Confused
Just take whatever it is you're going eat, and deepfry it. Everything tastes better deepfried! Big Grin

Deep fry chicken wings til crispy. Toss in a mixture of hot sauce, butter, maybe a little garlic and a bit of horseradish.

Just one more sip.

Tempura Batter:
1 egg
1 cup ice water
1 cup all purpose flour
Beat the egg in a mixing bowl, mix in water and flour.

Coat whatever you'd like (veggies, shrimp, chicken) to fry with with some cornstarch, dip in the batter and fry at 350.

I tend to deep fry whatever I have handy when I do a turkey (might as well do two turkeys and a few other things while you got all that oil hot).

An egg batter (such as Berno's tempura, sometimes I add a little milk) will work on just about anything from twinkies on up.
