Hi all,

Anyone have any recommendations for nice restaurants in El Paso, TX?

Thanks.

There's this little Taco stand on some corner on one of the streets......no, maybe that was in Juarez. I can't remember I had too many Pacifico's that day. I was probably criss-crossing the border all day and night and didn't even know it.

Sorry no help here.

Mattach,

There is not a great selection in El Paso, but very close by in New Mexico is La Posta and Ardovino's. Not sure approx locations, but a collegue of mine made those suggestions.

Thanks Sapril - unfortunately, I'll only be in El Paso one night and I need to find a nice place to take some business associates of mine that is in the city and easy to get to.

Never have had a glass of wine there, but for excellent Mexican food, in a festive atmosphere, you should try Andale's. Hope this link will work to give you a map: Andeles
Here's more info:
Andale Fine Mexican Cuisine & Cantina
9201 Gateway Blvd W
El Paso, TX 79925
(915) 590-5999

P.S.:
If you give it a try, post the razzies or kudos. Would love to see your impression.

Call and ask what nights they have mariachi bands playing. All the waiters and waitresses wear traditional Mexican costume dress. They'll periodically break out in a macarena dance (better than Gore's!). If you're going for quiet, this isn't the place. It's fun and festive.

DHG - will post a review if we get there. I also found another place called Cafe Central in downtown El Paso that is supposed to be excellent and will probably focus our dinner there but we'll see what happens...
