UK also has Rolo desserts - chocolate & caramel 'pudding'. They are really good.

To add to the "Yes!"...Rolo ice cream brings back memories of when I'd go over to my wife's house (then girlfriend) and her mom would always serve either rolo ice cream or rolo cookies for dessert. They alone were almost worth the 30 minute drive Big Grin

I've always thought of this as the quintessential Canadian dessert. We've had these on wilderness fishing trips in Nunavut. They'll keep your motor running for quite a while.


Just one more sip.

Definitely! Nanaimo bars were a constant in our home, always good for a late afternoon sugar rush after school.

Butter tarts are THE official Canadian dessert, but Nanaimo bars are wonderful too, though more popular in the West, I think. Here in Ottawa, it's Beavertails.
