How is the wine?
It showed really well. I don’t have a lot experience with wines from Veneto, so this was a good education.

They still serve food on airlines? Razz

Continental served a cheese burger. Was the strangest burger I've ever had.

the meat tasted like a hotdog, and the bun was like a mcdonald's biscuit. Very weird taste. Couldn't sleep on the plane after that because the food was so bad and I was hungry =(

Wow, surprised myself tonight. Can't say that I've been a huge fan of fish as it's generally a very subtle flavour (salmon, oily fish, etc, excepted). Tonight I did a halibut (poached in a court bouillon) with a citrus basil vinaigrette, steamed fingerling potatoes, and new carrots. I finally get it. Very nice, light, pure, natural flavours. Served with a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Excellent.

Hah. That's funny. I heard of these really being out there.

A Water Buffalo Lodge would be even better. Cactus Juice anyone?

Went to a little local bar in old town Tustin and was surprised to see fried chicken and waffles on the menu. It was no roscoe’s, but still hit the spot.
