Hi I'm new here and based in the UK. My sister and niece are visiting NYC next week and want to find a fun or different type of restaurant mainly for my 16 year old niece - anyone have any ideas - Manhattan area I think, they'll be staying on Lexington Ave.
Thanks!

Fun for teens...

There is the standard ESPN Zone, Hard Rock Cafe, etc.

You can also try Mars 2112, or the Jekyll and Hyde Club (there is a second... more "family crowd" on 6th in the mid-50's). Hope this helps.

Might be a little on the young side for a 16 yr old trying to feel cool, but Serendipity 3 in the E. 60s -- I forget which number, but it should be easy to track down.

Jackie O went there; there was a movie recently, and they have "fun" food -- like frozen hot chocolate.

Unfortunately, Jeckyll and Hyde will have a huge line out front and it is like TGI Fridays in terms of food and quality. Also it is too much money. Mars 2112 is cool for 8-12 year olds. More fun would be cruising around the Village or Museums, for a 16 year old.
