i really miss that show. not only Gordon Elliot has a great personality, the show was fun, humorous and messy. and very voyeristic too - nothing beats going through someone else's freezer Big Grin and finding grandma's meatballs...what? grandma's been gone for 5 years!! Eek
anyway, it was fun to see chefs scratching their heads in confusion, trying to come up with a recipe with rotten celery, frozen peas and spoiled orange juice.Confused Big Grin but the good thing was, not one ever backed down from the challenge, no matter how long they had to fry that chunk of meat to make it safe to eat.
are they planning to bring it back? anyone knows the scoop maybe? and if not...who wants to play!? Wink

I also enjoyed " Door Knock Dinners".

The Food Network would be well advised to feature more telecasts emphasizing the improv gifts of chefs.

The whole network has gone terribly stale.
