I am trying to put together a gift basket of food wine, etc. Each product has to have a double meaning. For example, one thing I have in there is a can of "spotted dick". I never heard of it, but I guess it's some kind of british pudding. Does anyone have any suggestions for any products?

You could sharpen the theme and stick with all British foods that have weird names – for instance, Bubble and Squeak (leftover potatoes and cabbage fried together), Toad-in-the-hole (sausages baked in a crust), and, of course, Bangers and Mash (sausages and mashed potatoes). I don’t know how much luck you'll have finding these pre-packaged, though....

Not that you would want to give it to anybody but SPAM comes to mind.

BTW, is "spotted dick" some sort of STD?

how about Canned Beaver. (next to the canned rabbit, bear, and racoons at wildlife stores/zoos and holds a small stuffed animal)
