For wine, Mystic has a decent wine bar called Tastings, a Wine Experience. It's just off I-95 at the Mystic exit. They have some meat/cheese plates, but go somewhere else for a full meal.

Newport 2 years ago ate at Prontos on Lower Thames. Good list although steep. Some french, spanish, italian, aussie and CA Down the way was an Italian place Sordellas or such name. Good food, fair list A funky place is * yes that is an asterisk aterick. Good martinis and real deep list. By bottle and glass. Been ages since in Mystic.
