Damp, rainy night last night... felt like a night for comfort food.

Chicken cutlets and mac-and-cheese. And yes, the mac-and-cheese was Velveeta!!!

Stewed San Marzano Tomatoes
1/8 cup olive oil add 5 cloves of chopped garlic until brown, remove garlic. Stew 1 can peeled certified san marzano tomatoes for 20 minutes add a bit of sea salt, some red pepper flakes, pour into bowl over 1/8 cup fresh basil, top with crispy garlic, eat with good italian bread and a glass of cab.

A few days ago, I tried the lamb gyros from the Cooks Illustrated recipe...served with yogurt sauce made from Fage Total, ended with Key Lime ice cream. The gyros were super easy, somewhat healthy, and muy delicioso.
