C'mon, you know you love them! What are your picks?
Some I rarely eat because they put me in a sugar coma, but some of my favorites: Cracklin' Oat Bran, PB Cap'n Crunch, Wheaties, Total, Golden Grahams, HNut Cheerios, CTC. Eaten with soy milk (tastes better I think), or chocolate milk on occasion.

LOL! Funny this thread should come up. I just received this book the other day, about cereal and prizes in the '60's when I was a little kid. Cripes, you could win an brand new 1960 Chevy Corvair or Plymouth Fury if your mom grabbed the right box! There was an offer on the back of Post Grape Nuts Flakes, where for a box top and 25 cents, you could get a scale model of a Russian Tu-104 jetliner. I wonder how well that went over in 1960?
There are plenty in there that I don't recall, or never made it to the Seattle market, but plenty that I do. For years, I've debated my friend that there was a short-lived cereal with freeze-dried fruit in the 1960's, and now I can prove it. (Post Corn Flakes & Strawberries (or blueberries, or peaches.)) He maintained that the stable dehydration technology wasn't available way back then. Of course, it was probably 2 or 3 times more expensive so my mom only bought it once or twice.
While my tastes have changed since then (I think Quisp was my favorite) I still like the freeze-dried fruit, although I think they call it something else now. I now go for Mixed Berry Cheerio's, and Honey Bunches of Oats w/ Peaches.
If I want something hot, it's McCann's Irish Oatmeal.

Cap'n Crunch Trix Lucky Charms I was Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs Sugar Frosted Flakes (Tony the Tiger said they were Grrrreat!) Krispies Sugar Crisp Honeycomb Quake (LOVED this one and once sent off a coupon for a miner's helmet off the back of the box. It worked awesome in dark caves..err..I mean the closet) Raisin Bran
Some are long gone and some are still around. Still enjoy the occasional Corn Flakes and Cheerios. Tried Cap'n Crunch a couple of years ago for old times and about fell out of my chair there was so much sugar (AAAKK!)

Do a big bowl of Grape Nuts and you'll need more than Kaboom! That stuff sets up like cement if you're not careful on the portion ratio of size/milk.

Truth be told, I rarely eat breakfast, and if I am doing a traditional 3 meal (plus late evening snack) day, my breakfast is most likely to be a bagel and some OJ.
When I was 8 I liked chocolate rice crispies, though...

In the "hot cereal" department, I've been eating "Red River" which comes from Canada. Not sold in the US and they won't ship me any, so I have to rely on trips to Canada and friends to send it to me. Great stuff.
