I will be having dinner at this famed restaurant in a few weeks and wanted to find out if anyone has been there recently, and what your thoughts were? I hope it is as good as I have heard. I would love to see their whole wine list. Thanks.

IW,
I haven't been in a couple of years, but I'm willing to bet that you'll have a VERY memorable meal. Michel Richard is a frikkin' genius when it comes to food. The wine list that is availble online is not complete. If it is really important to you, call the restaurant at (202) 625-2150 and ask for Mark Slater. I'd HIGHLY recommend the Grand Degustation with the recommended pairings. Ordering a bottle, or even a couple and trying to match with this cooking is a bit of a challenge. Put yourself in the house's hands, sit back and enjoy. One of the best meals I've ever had in my short life. PH |
