Everybody dies. Pass that bottle and that loaf of dark rye bread, thanks.

Talking about wine is simply a waste of valuable drinking time.

Pan de orejon is not bread actually, but a mixture of apricots and almonds.

I made the gorgonzoa and pear pizza last night/early this morning.

Since the pizza thread got deleted...I bought the dough from a local pizza place and attempted to make it into crust. It was unevenly shaped and looked like a pyramid.

I threw on some gorgonzoa and sliced pears. However, the gorgonzoa didn't melt nicely in 5 minutes like it should have; therefore, burning the pear.

This pizza was not the pizza I had at the offline this past weekend, but it satisfied my craving for gorgonzoa and pear.

PH, there was lots of pizza dough, tubs of lard and threats to sit on other people's husband's reproductive organs. Sapril was lonely and in the mood again.
I can't wait for someone to start a thread on Polish sausage. Big Grin

Prime reason why I'm spending less and less time here.

I used to enjoy the conversation, recommendations, etc. Now, with the influx of these "new" posters (not to mention the short temper and crudeness of "long-time" posters), this place is going down the crapper. Perfect example was the inundation of garbage posts this past weekend, and said pizza thread. I’ve noticed we’re seeing less and less of the “usuals” and more and more of the jack@sses.

Go HOKIES!!!

Dinner last night: roasted chicken, with slow-cooked lentils (with lots of garlic and Maui sweet onions).
I only discovered lentils quite recently (despite their being one of the most ancient cultivated foods known to mankind), but I'm starting to like them more and more as I experiment with different recipes.

I'd start a lentil thread, but I think I'm developing a phobia about moronic responses.

Believe me, even such innocent petit legume can be a dangerous weapon in the right hands. How about we wait and see what happens with the kielbasa thread? I give it till midnight before it explodes. Then we move onto legumes. Cool

No class today...who hoo! Just studying for finals...boo! Frown

I think I am going to make myself a hamburger for breakfast and some grilled corn to go along with it.

I may even pick up a kielbasa for future use.
