a couple of questions for some feedback:

1) My wife and I will have 14 for Thanksgivng tomorrow, and it's about two-thirds wine enthusiasts and one-third non-wine drinkers. Other that water or Pellegrino, what would you offer to the non-wine drinkers on T-Day?

2) With a dinner group this large my wife sets up a buffet in a pass-thru pantry between our kitchen and dining room, which works well in getting people served quickly. So while we do have a sit down, it is definitely casual. I was thinking with a group this large for the wine, to just scatter several bottles of red and white down the table and let people "self-serve" during the course of the meal. Any thoughts about serving the wine other than this?

Thanks.

Not completely sure what you're asking. Are you looking for wine suggestions also or just how to serve the wine you have chosen?

Self Serving is fine for 14 people. Don't open too many at once. People who are not paying attention will mix wine and/or you'll end up with 1/2 empty bottles. A fruity white goes over well with non-winos on Thanksgiving. Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Reisling etc.

Non-wine drinkers (poor, lost souls) that I've been with have liked sweetish sparkling fruit juice. Spiced apple juice/cider might go over well, too.
