Channeling Bella Donna...

Hey boys & girls, you'll be thrilled to bits with tonight's concoction:
* 2 oz. Miller's Gin
* 4 mists Noilly Prat dry vermouth
* stirred (not shaken) 50 times b/c large ice cubes used (not crushed or chipped)
* rather than freezing glasses, employed the "WIML" technique
* Lehman's jalapeno stuffed olives
Good news is it was actually a pretty darn good martini. That being said, I can't appreciate them...yet. Mr. Skosh had his sans olive

- so not a martini, I know. While, by contrast, I made mine "extra dirty" to see how it would turn out.
Bad news is Mr. Skosh is now threatening to run off because I told him I'm going to make a different martini each night for the next week.

We have Miller's, Junipero, then some of the typical vodka suspects, plus an assortment of olives from different producers. Heck, I think I might get my hands on some really good blue cheese and stuff them myself.
Off to fetch a nice glass of wine now. Phew.

P.S. I've since learned that shaking, which "bruises" the gin, imparts a bitter taste to the drink. All righty then...
