Please give any sugestions of what you would recommend to eat for a picnic dinner with these wines they are serving. I am not sure what to bring. The other couple is bringing cheese and I thought we would bring some kind of picnic meat that would fill us up. Please help... Here is the wines...http://www.moondancerwinery.com/new_page_2.htm

I'm guessing you can't cook there, so I will provide my thoughts with items you can make the night/day before.
2003 Pinot Grigio - green salad or heirloom tomato salad. 2002 Chardonnay - Pita with hummus and a variety of olives(put something interesting in the hummus, like capers or roasted garlic) 2002 Chardonnay Reserve - Fried chicken breast strips, because fried chicken is good cold, and is good picnic food. 2002 Cabernet Franc/Cabernet Sauvignon - meat pies (ground lamb or beef, raisins, cumin, etc) Check eastern recipes. Crescent Moon Sparkling Wine - cheese 2003 Harvest Moon Red - chocolate 2003 Pinot Blanc - fruit (berries, peaches, apricots, canteloupe, etc) This message has been edited.
