Yes, I am a bit old for t-ball, but Dom and Vin are right in their t-ball prime.... Razz

Started with some cheeses and NV Heidsieck, KB Rose, and then ended up with a '97 Siro Pacenti BdM. Flank steak marinated in EVOO, balsamic, rosemary and garlic. Grilled and sliced thin. Served over baby arugula, with red onion, tomato and shaved parmesan....

Was in San Francisco this weekend and had some awesome food. From Michael Mina that I posted about already, to the brisket taco’s at the farmers market on Saturday and the dungeness crab omelet at mamas on Sunday. SF never disappoints when it comes to food.

Killer meal at Salt Tasting room in Vancouver.
  • Olives with Amontillado
  • Duck and Pork Salami with Sheperds Ridge Pinot Noir
  • Spicy Cappicolla with Arrocal Ribera del Duero
  • Roaring 40s Blue Cheese with Selbach Olster Auslese
  • Stichelton Blue Cheesecake with Fig and Star Anise compote and Venturi Schulze Brandenburg No.3

So much fun, I wanted to start over and pick another 4 or 5 pairings.
