Of course. I used to use plain white rice (I know, shame on me), but the real thing makes a huge difference. Last night I used calasparra and it came out perfectly.

Finished up the month with my next door neighbor's "Tailgate Stew". Basically, it is chili with spaghetti topped with cheese and green onions. She does it every Halloween, and it is so white-trashily delicious! 2005 Sbragia Cabernet Sauvignon Rancho Del Oso.


Romeo and Juliet are together in eternity....
