I'm figuring it's a matter of convenience. If Eugene is anything like Portland, you probably have several Starbucks within a few miles of each other to choose from!

Matter of balance! In the AM you have some coffee to get you going. Then, you hit the wineries. After a couple hours of tasting you take a break to have another coffee and some lunch. After you've "regrouped" you're ready for more winery visits/tastings! When you're finished with that you go to a great restaurant (like El Gaucho in Portland) to have a superb meal and some great wines. Damn, that sounds exactly like what my brother and I did a month or so ago!

Anything from Intelligentsia in Chicago. Their Black Cat blend for espresso is awesome. They have many other direct trade, single origin coffee as well. Those that were in Chicago in April will recall this is where I dragged everyone for coffee in the morning!

If I remember correctly, Fut, you based your choice of Hotel solely upon it's relative proximity to this place!

Who *are* you? Group on a mission or not, there's always time to stop at Intelligentsia.

I combine Folgers Columbian roast and Folger's Gourmet series Hazelnut. It's taken years and gallons of trial and error.

Is this all for yourself? I just ran out of beans. I was thinking of ordering at least 5 lbs, but I don't know if the beans will remain fresh over a month. I also want to try a variety of their coffees. Anyone else in the NNJ area who like an excellent cup of joe and may want to purchase coffee from this place?

This is where I get my morning cup: http://www.colecoffee.com/The cafe is also a "coffee" bar. They offer individual drip coffee by the cup. The website says 25, but I think this is outdated and they've cut back.
