If you don't feel like steak, consider their sea bass. It's excellent.

Just one more sip.

Going away party for a colleague last night so we just munched on some bar food (wings, sliders, etc.) and a couple pints of Harp.

It was in my home, so we had to keep it to a relatively small number of people. Hard to pick a wine of the night for me. If I had to pick one, I'd say the 1997 Alvaro Palacios l'Ermita, but the Coma Blanca, Ramey, and Petrus were all great wines. I think the Petrus needs 3-5 years to really blossom, and the Coma Blanca probably another year or two.

Just one more sip.

Just got finished with 2.5 inch thick T-bones on the grill, twice baked and some Dead Arm. Nap time!

tri tip on the grill, a mix of veggies and potatoes being made by the wife and a nice Malbec sitting in a decanter. If the baby wasn't sick - I'd sleep good tonight.
