It's to hot to cook in Denver. We're getting pizza from Armando's and I might have a really cold beer(or2,or3), in lieu of wine.

I've got a fantastic frenched pork loin roast on the BBQ. Seasoned with fennel and herbes de Provence. It's sitting on top of a bunch of potatoes with plenty of fresh rosemary so the fantastic pork fat and drippings can flavour them even more.

I'll probably start with some tomatoes from my balcony, fresh basil, and mozzarella di bufala, then work through the rest.

Yeah, dinner will be good.

Dinner with friends at the Brooklyn Jazz Cafe downtown Dallas, TX. Jamaican spicy beef patties, plantains, and rich chocolate cake. The atmosphere and food were great. The music had everyone grooving. I can't wait to return to this venue again...

DnVD, you inspired me! I went with a Caprese salad with pitted calamata olives and some crunchy baguettes. Shrimp Scampi and linguine, no wine tonight, though I did use Columbia Crest Grand Estates Chard in the recipe.

Last night we had some Korean BBQ at home (short ribs, spicy pork, etc). Paired with a 2004 Rancho Zabaco Zinfandel Stefani Vineyard. I’m normally not a big Zin fan, but this was pretty tasty. Stood up to the strong flavors of the BBQ.
