I have posted the handout I used at my Improving Your Wine Palate class last week here - http://kathleenlisson.blogspot.com/2008/02/tips-for-improving-your-wine-palate.html

It includes a list of fruits, jams and other items to smell in order to pick up the same types of smells in wine.

I also posted directions for setting up a 'wine sleepover' - a great way to test your sensitivity to oxidation, temperature and decanting in red wines.

If you do experiment with a wine sleepover of your own, please leave your results in the comments section.

Thanks!
Kathleen Lisson, CSW

A wine sleepover? That could get out of hand very quickly...

Cheers!
