Welcome aboard. I'm intrigued to hear how the market is out there

Sorry we had not met before now. Welcome to the board. We were in China last June and it would have been a great pleasure to meet you.
Our experiences on the mainland were that wine was hard to find and many times I had to resort to Walmart for what little wine we could find at retail. Most of what we found was from Australia, along with some of the Chinese wines like The Great Wall, Dynasty, etc. Several restaurant lists had some excellent wines but at prices that were astoundingly high. Some of that was apparently because of the incredibly high import duties imposed on the wine.
All that said, our trip to China was an incredible adventure that came to an end all to soon. We would love to return some day.
