I'm in Italy now so I've got Italian wine on my mind -- try a sparkling Moscato. They're slightly sweet, plus the bubbles are fun. Tell us how your sipping goes.

(As for Boones, it tasted pretty good in college.)

Most newbs tend to like Pinot Grigio since it is so light. Beer drinkers start out liking the sweet wines (especially those made from fruit) and then usually will aquire the taste for the bolder reds. I hope that helps!
