Hi fellow enophiles,

I am looking for good winery recommendations in the Sonoma and Healdsburg region. I am pretty familiar with Napa and have several favorites in that region such as Paradigm, Cain Cellars, Stags Leap, and Robert Craig. I was wondering if there are comparable wineries in Sonoma and Healdsburg?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ferrari-Carano- the most beautiful winery in the area

Dry Creek- for a picnic

After viewing your Napa listing, I would suggest getting an appointment at Lancaster in the Alexander Valley. Don't pay any attention to their WS rating, it's a joke, obviously somebody has it out for them. Great facility, nice people and a pleasant experience.

I recommend Handley Vineyards. If you have time after, a brief stop at the general store in Boonville for sweets is memorable.
