Just wondering if anybody cared to guess what will be the Wine of the Year for 2009. This has been a lesson in frustration every year (for me at least) since the 2001 Rieussec Sauternes was given top honors in 2004 -- that one was pretty clear. Since 2004 it has been the Wine Spectator's mission to "surprise" us all. But it is still fun to try and guess. I am thinking the 2007 Chateau Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape.
