Simple, straightforward, candid. Just remember, this blog is more for your own retrospective rather than telling others about your wine experiences (or so I've found with my own friends who have done the same). How about an option to comment on some of your tasting notes? All in all, nicely done!

Best whishes. I hope your blog endeavor does much better than mine did...which was about art and photography not wine....but it's tough building an audience.
I wish you the best for your efforts.

I like the basic idea, however, there are a couple of things I'd like to see: a photo of the of the bottle wine label that notes are given on and also maybe make it easier to search for particular wine notes through the search box.

Thanks! Next posts will contain photos.
I'm off to Piedmont tomorrow - that would probably be the next post. Then I'm going to blog about my experiences from the Wine Spectator Bordeaux course. From what I've read until now - it's a pretty good course. The posts will be about the tasting part of the course.

It is true, most blogs stink to high heaven because people who write them are boring. With talented people like Wine Kamikaze and Bob St.Claire (among others) on my writting stuff, my blog, while specific, is quite readable, entertaining and informative. It has noting to do with wine or food though so that's why I am not pimping it here.

I'd guess it's a lot like some other well known poster's website. Same guy talking to himself in gibberish.
At least one person is entertained.....

You guess wrong , but then again, wrong is nothing new when it comes to your deducting skills.
WIML, what's the website that keeps you busy, "When Animals Attack"?
Probably not. You are pretty much identical to "he who shall remain nameless" except that you can cook and yet you have an inferior wine palate to his......
