Nice to have money :-). In case you are like most of us and cannot afford Chateau d'Yquiem, I recommend Les Banyuls or any other Vin Doux Naturel or Dessert-style Jumilla from Spain.
While they're not exactly my cup of tea, I know some producers make different variations of late harvest red varietals like Merlot, Cab Franc and Syrah. You'll get the dark fruit like Merlot with some sweetness like a dessert wine. This winery has a Late Harvest Merlot for sale near the bottom of the page. Mind you, I've never tried it.
