If you can find a Grand Cru that's been stored ideally, Burgundy is fine. Ditto for a Rhone (pass on 1978 Beaucastel) or one the heartier California Cabs (Heitz Martha's, BV, Chappellet, Diamond Creek, Simi Reserve, Mondavi Reserve, etc). Don't consider Bordeaux- it's an over-rated vintage and many of the top wines never lived up to the hype and many are tiring.
Just one more sip.
