Wine Commune is okay but i find that once I add in: -1% -$3.50 'handling' fee -and excessive shipping charges to east coast... I must bid pretty low to be worthwhile. I'm sure you find the same w/ Winebids 14% buyers premium...which is why I do Wine Commune, no premium, just the other extras...
Normally winezap or winesearcher unearth some decent deals... Now, if it's rarities you're after. Try Hart,Davis,Hart (hdhwines)or the Chicago Wine Co. Happy hunting...

Just to add. Ive purchased wines from both winebid and Magnumwines, with no issues. All products have been handled professionally and expediantly by both and were indeed as described, impeccably. I will say the packing of items from Magnumwines has always been OTT fantastic! The bottles could weather any conditions or handling.

winecommune is great...winebid very expensive and they say those fees cover people checking the bottles out very carefully. I have had a friend who got bad expensive bottles numerous time from winebid.
