If it as good as you all make it out to be it should be worth the money but then I am I going to drink all these Aussie Chards after that? [Big Grin] [Wink] [Cool] ( I am waiting for Aussie and TORB to shoot me flaming arrows or send me to the crocs piece by piece alive)

Cheers,
LRnW

LCC, I thought you were the one that loved the Clos Pepe, yet I don't see it mentioned in your list of favorites. I think if it had more time to open up, it would have cracked my top 3. Had it at the winery and was impressed enough to pick up 3 @ $35.

That's great news, jb.

I've got a 3-pack of the 2000 vintage waiting for me in CA. I also picked up a 6-pack of the 2001 PN, along with their 'Vigneron Select' "top-tier" bottling. With only 35 cases produced of the latter, allocation list members are quite lucky to score some. Perhaps someday we could do a horizontal?

Plus, I got a chard and a few of their dessert wines (Sweet Farewell?).

Short,

I got 3 of the dessert wine as well. Wes told me to hold it for 3-5 years. Don't know if I have the patience but FWIW.

Do they still have the '01 Vigneron-select available? Maybe I should give them a call.

Yes, forgot about that 1. I liked it more than the Martinelli (for now, @ least).

New list: Etude, Kistler, Argyle, Arlaud/Clos Pepe, Seghesio.

jb -

The Vigneron Select is for the 'allocation list' members only. I believe there are 200 people on their list.

You should definitely ask him if you can get some - and get on their list if you haven't already.

It's kinda cool since he sends out multiple harvest-related messages during the year so you can follow the fruit pretty closely.
