Just had a bottle of the 2001 this past weekend with some barbecued ribs. I found it to be a solid Bordeaux blend wine from CA. Deep purple color. Not too tannic or acidic, good fruit, moderate finish. Offhand I'd have rated it 91-92 points, and a really nice drinker now.
